Overview of the Minerals Exploration Project
The project “Economic Potential of Coal, Iron Ore, Limestone, and Other Minerals in Koh-e-Suleman, Dera Ghazi Khan Division” is about finding and studying important minerals in this area of Punjab. The results will help plan industries, attract investment, and use the minerals in a sustainable way.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Each post has specific qualification and experience requirements:
- Field Geologist:
A Bachelor’s degree in Applied Geology from an HEC-recognised university with at least five years of relevant experience in a public or private organisation. - GIS Mapping Officer:
A Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Space Science, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or Geography from an HEC-recognised university, along with a minimum of five years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with proven drone technology experience. - Drone Operator:
A Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Space Science, Remote Sensing, or related fields with at least two years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with drone operations will be preferred. - Surveyor:
A DAE in Civil Technology from a recognised institution with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. - IT Support Assistant:
Matriculation, along with a six-month diploma in Computer Science, and at least five years of experience in IT software and hardware support. - Driver:
Under matric qualification with a valid LTV or HTV driving license and at least five years of driving experience. - Field Man:
Under matric qualification, physically fit, and capable of performing field duties.
Age Limit and Relaxation Policy
The general age limit for all posts is 25 to 35 years. However, age relaxation will be granted as per the Government of Punjab rules:
- Male candidates: Up to 5 years
- Female candidates: Up to 8 years
